Laurie coordinates the behavioral health services for RWWC patients ongoing 3 years. This includes providing psychotherapy along with coordinating psychotherapy and psychiatric referrals with outside providers. He also manages our peer support team by providing general oversight, behavioral base consultation, and education. Laurie was raised in Colleton County then received a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2018 and has been a National Certified Counselor since 2018 as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2020. Laurie enjoys working with the diverse patient population at the RWWC and thinks it is most rewarding to see a patient move beyond pain and find healing, purpose, and fulfillment for their lives. In his free time, he is caring and collecting exotic and tropical plants and spending quality time with family and friends. One piece of advice Laurie frequently gives to himself is, “Never give up on you!”.
