It is never too late to be what you might have been.

RN, BSN

Nurse

she/her

Kelley’s primary job as a nurse at the Health Services Center is patient education. From new patient referrals to continuing education and care for existing patients, she works to ensure our patients have the knowledge to feel confident and comfortable to lead their best lives. Kelley received her BSN from University of South Carolina in 2014 and has worked in many different areas, including Surgical Trauma, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Orthopedics, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Urgent Care. She likes that our patients are able to come and get so many of their needs met in one place, from medical care to dental care to housing and canned goods - a one stop shop with each patient's best interest in mind. She enjoys spending time with her partner and son outside in nature, whether it be hiking, swimming, or exploring a new place. Kelley also loves to travel and cook and spend time with her girlfriends. Kelley was born and raised in Charleston, SC and has also spent some time in Columbia SC, Wilmington NC, Ocean Isle Beach NC, South Africa, and Malawi. She came to the Health Services Center after deciding to follow her heart, passion and a joy for serving the underserved. After spending time working with youth in Malawi, teaching HIV/STI prevention and education, it was Kelley’s goal to turn her volunteer work into a career, and Health Services Center has given her that opportunity. She feels a strong sense of responsibility to utilize her talents and knowledge to help make the world a better place, and that is a driving force in her life and work. Kelley’s best given advice, “People make time in their lives for what they value. Don't waste your time and energy with someone who doesn't value you.”
