Strength isn’t about how much you can handle before you break. It’s about how much you can endure after you’ve been broken.

Keisha is the Ryan White Wellness Center’s Grant Accounting Manager. If asked she would say

she’s “all things money.” She and her team manage the spending and reconciliation of all funds

spent by RWWC and report the use of funds to the hospital system, federal government, and

other entities from whom we receive funding. She also assists with the preparation of grant

applications related to budgeting and ensures the center remains compliant. She received her

Master‘s in Business Administration in Finance and Management from Claflin University and her

Bachelor’s in Business Administration from South Carolina State University. She always wanted

to work in the financial field, but after working in finance and banking she came to realize her

work was harming others. She chose grant administration as a means of utilizing her skills and

talents to help others. This brought her to the Ryan White Wellness Center, where her work

improves the lives of our patients every day. She enjoys that her work feels at times like a

puzzle she’s challenged to solve, often finding herself knee-deep in policy searching for a way to

allocate money for the center’s many endeavors. She’s lived in Orangeburg, Columbia, and

finally Summerville, and is finishing up her sixth year at the Ryan White Wellness Center. If

you’re looking, you might find Keisha cheering on the Cowboys, traveling with her husband, or

spending time with her nieces and nephews.
