Amy Ray is the Practice Manager at the Wellness Center. She has supervisory oversight of all clinical operations for medical, dental, and vision and recommends, reviews, and approves any necessary personnel, patient, and/or process changes in concert with the Program Director. In addition, she assists in-clinic when needed and represents the clinical team during administrative meetings. Amy is a Certified Correction Health Professional, a licensed CMA, a member of Roper’s DEI Council, as well as a member of GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Georgia College and State University. Amy joined the Ryan White Wellness Center in March of 2021 with 13 years of experience in Healthcare Management and a career of impassioned work in Infectious Disease Prevention. She enjoys getting to know the patients, connecting with them, and hearing their stories, knowing they feel protected from stigma at the Wellness Center. She loves working on something larger than herself, in an environment where the staff wants to stay, and where those who leave want to come back. If you’re looking, you might find Amy geocaching, baking, or hiking through the mountains with her wife and two sons.
